The iCM Administrator course is a one day course that provides an understanding of the tasks involved to manage iCM. Each course is tailored to meet the needs of the delegates on the course. During the course some elements are very hands-on and others are normally covered by discussions and illustrations.
We recommend that iCM security, logs, reports and Scheduled tasks are detailed within the course. This is to ensure that security can later be implemented, audit information can be retrieved and that iCM knows to update search indexes, look for articles to move or when to send email reminders onto content owners.
In addition to the above, the course could detail how to implement an approval process, use version policies and other tasks to maintain the website/intranet. It is aimed at users who have completed the iCM Editor course and will be involved in the maintenance of the website/intranet.
