Building software at scale is fun, challenging and changing constantly. We have helped our clients deliver new online services to their citizens including ferry disruptions, improved waste collection solutions as well complex integration into various 3rd party systems.
We are looking for full and part time Developers to join our relaxed and friendly team based in Plymouth. This role can either be based in our large open-plan office on the edge of Dartmoor, fully remote/home based or a mixture of the two.
As a GOSS Software Developer, you will work in a matrix team delivering a wide variety of challenging and interesting projects. You will be involved in all stages of the development lifecycle from design and estimation through to the build, deployment and ongoing support of our products and client solutions. You will bring coding expertise to the team, working closely with others to produce quality code that is efficient, maintainable and meets defined requirements. You will also work closely with our operational team which includes Project Managers, Sales and Support.
A degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science or a related discipline, and/or industry experience in a relevant field.
GOSS was founded in 1999, and today comprises over 75 people. We are a growing software business based on the edge of Dartmoor. Our clients range from the public sector (local and central Government) to private sector brands such as Brittany Ferries & Caledonian MacBrayne.

Initial interviews will be via Teams with our Technical Lead and a Senior Software Developer. If successful you will be invited to attend a competency-based interview either here at the GOSS offices in Plymouth or again via Teams which will last approximately 1.5 hours You will be expected to be able evidence previous examples of your work.
