The Role
We are looking for talented, enthusiastic, hard-working Front End Developers to join our friendly, innovative and growing team, currently more than 75 people, based either at our offices in Plymouth overlooking Dartmoor, at home or a mixture of the two.
You will be working on large scale, high profile projects often using the latest technologies which means that you can really develop and showcase your skills. You will be involved in all stages of the development lifecycle from design and estimation through to the build, deployment and ongoing support of our products and client solutions. You will bring coding expertise to the team, working closely with others to produce quality code that is efficient, maintainable and meets defined requirements. You will also work closely with our operational team which includes Project Managers, Sales and Support.
About You
We are looking for people who wants to work with us to push the boundaries of user experience and interface design. You will have demonstrable experience of applying designs in cross-browser, standards compliant HTML and CSS, with good knowledge of backwards compatibility and responsive web design principles. You will have experience and knowledge in the challenges behind producing fully accessible websites and solutions. You are enthusiastic about technology and take pride in delivering work of a high quality. You will have examples of developing dynamic web applications, knowledge/experience of server-side JavaScript and using JavaScript libraries would be beneficial. You are adaptable and work well as part of a team on multiple concurrent projects. Good communication skills are essential.

Interview details
Initial interviews will be via Teams with our Department Lead and If successful you will be invited to attend a competency-based interview either here at the GOSS offices in Plymouth or again via Teams which will last approximately 1.5 hours You will be expected to be able to evidence previous examples of your work.
