Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council has launched the Invest Stockton-on-Tees website as an initiative to support local businesses and foster growth in the region. With over 5,000 businesses in their jurisdiction, the council recognised the pivotal role enterprises play in driving the local economy. However, they faced challenges as their microsite was hosted separately, causing fragmented web presence management. To address this, they adopted the GOSS Digital Platform in January 2020, allowing them to centralise and enhance their web presence whilst retiring unnecessary content management systems. This decision marked the beginning of a transformative journey, with the help of the GOSS Creative team, to rebuild the Invest Stockton-on-Tees website.
